Chiara Bodini is a Medical Doctor, specialised in infectious disease and now completing a residency in public health. She has worked in health cooperation settings in several Sub Saharan African countries. She is now working at the Centre for International Health (CSI) of the University of Bologna, where she’s involved in action-research projects with migrants as well as in teaching global health, including social determinants of health and health inequalities. She’s member of the Italian Observatory for Global Health and of the Italian Network for Global Health Education; she's on the board of the Italian Association of Migration Medicine. She's also the European representative of the People’s Health Movement.
